Trail Overview

This is a short but fun trail connecting the Highline Trail to the Deer Trail. The route includes a few challenging spots with deep ruts, rocks, and off-camber sections. It is suitable for high-clearance stock 4x4 vehicles. Take it slow through the trickier areas, but overall it’s a rewarding and enjoyable trail with scenic surroundings.

We took house trail down from deer trail, down to the green City High trail. House trail had many rocky 20% grade descents. One section was eroded pretty badly down the center so have to get a little off camber to get around it, then you go about 30ft straight down into a gully with steep approach and departure angle right into a tough break over. skid plates hit on this one. After that it was pretty easy although still pretty steep…. took a right onto green- very easy from there to the main road.

Great trail for a dual sport. I ride a 2024 KTM 500 EXC.. I’m an intermediate rider and ride this trail solo often. There are a few bits that are more technical but with a little focus and commitment (hang on, squeeze the bike with your legs) it’s a breeze. The reward is a beautiful vista at the top.

Trail has rough rainfall cutouts but still fun if you have the clearance and wheel base stance for it.
