Accessed twice directly off of Scotts Lake Road (FS 31079) near Scotts Lake, this 0.6-mile single-lane track functions as a loop route that begins and ends along the main access road. Public land visitors primarily travel this path for quiet side exploration while visiting the Scotts Lake recreation area or seeking peaceful woodland scenery. The driving surface consists of a narrow single-track dirt path peppered with loose stones, earning an accessible Grade 2 difficulty rating. Entering from the upper junction closest to Scotts Lake, the road starts as smooth, hard-packed earth beneath shaded conifers. As the route curves and descends toward the lower junction over its final 0.25 miles, the track grows noticeably rockier with loose cobbles and small embedded stones. While a few occasional turnouts offer brief passing room, tight side vegetation creates persistent paint-scratching hazards along narrower segments.
