Trail Overview

This is a great, easy-to-moderate trail during the summer that just about any capable 4WD vehicle can enjoy. The route crosses Goodrich Creek and the adjacent historic flume, offering beautiful scenery and several great spots to stop and take in the views. Be aware that this trail is highly seasonal. During the winter months, snow and wet conditions make it essentially impassable, so plan your trip accordingly. Wildlife was one of the highlights of our trip. We were fortunate enough to spot a cinnamon-colored black bear along with several wild turkeys, including a rare albino turkey. Between the scenic creek crossings, historic flume, and abundant wildlife, this is a fun and memorable trail that's well worth exploring during the warmer months.
