This narrow, fine-dirt trail has overgrown vegetation throughout, making pinstriping possible, with little room for vehicles to pass. Ruts reach 6–8 inches deep, while frequent rock gardens include rocks and ledges reaching 6–8 inches tall. The loose dirt can become considerably more difficult when wet. Around 0.3 miles, a level campsite accommodates up to five vehicles and includes a large fire ring with excellent mountain views. Around 1 mile, another level campsite accommodates up to six vehicles with a large fire ring, plenty of shade, and privacy from the surrounding trees. This is a one-way-in, one-way-out route, with enough room at the far end for a multi-point turn.
