Trail Overview
This narrow, fine-dirt trail climbs along the hillside with ruts ranging from 2–4 inches deep near the beginning. There are occasional wider sections where vehicles can pass. Around 0.9 miles, rock gardens begin appearing with rocks ranging from 1–4 inches in diameter. The loose dirt can become more difficult to drive on when wet. The hillside route provides scenic views of the surrounding forest throughout the drive. The combination of forest scenery and relatively mild terrain makes this an enjoyable route for exploring this section of the area.
Difficulty
This trail is rated Level 2 because of the 2–4 inch ruts, narrow terrain, and rock gardens with 1–4 inch rocks. There are no significant technical obstacles under dry conditions.
