This wide, fine-dirt trail begins as a well-maintained route with plenty of room for vehicles to pass and ruts no deeper than 2–3 inches. Around 0.1 miles, there is access to additional trails in both directions, with campsites and a restroom nearby. Around 2 miles, the route becomes narrower with heavy overgrown vegetation, although pinstriping is generally avoidable with careful driving. The route travels through dense forest with scenic views throughout. Several sections open up to expansive views of the surrounding mountains and hills, providing a mix of enclosed forest scenery and wide-open mountain vistas.
