This trail is only accessible by Highway Legal Vehicles, so please do not take any other kind of vehicle on this road. This short, well-maintained trail provides an easy drive to a large parking area with access to a nearby fishing spot. The road is easy to navigate and leads down toward the water, though you’ll need to walk a bit farther to reach the fishing access; the parking area offers plenty of room to park before heading out. Keep in mind this is a day-use area, so overnight stays and camping aren’t permitted. It’s a convenient option for those who want to spend time fishing without traveling far from the main road. ATVs, UTVs, Side-by-Sides, and Dirt Bikes must always have a valid California ATV Operating Permit sticker.
