Trail Overview

This narrow, loose-dirt trail immediately climbs up and over the hillside through rock gardens with 2–6 inch rocks and ruts reaching 6–8 inches deep. Rock ledges reach 12–14 inches tall, while overgrown vegetation makes pinstriping highly likely. Numerous fallen trees and tight standing trees create narrow sections that require carefully weaving around logs. This route is not trailer-friendly. The trail continues through tight, rugged forest terrain before connecting with FS 6N94Y. The loose dirt can become considerably more difficult when wet, and the combination of fallen trees and narrow passages requires careful maneuvering throughout.

Difficulty

This trail is rated Level 4 because of the 12–14 inch rock ledges, 6–8 inch ruts, frequent rock gardens, steep hillside climbing, and extremely tight sections around fallen trees. Careful line selection and adequate clearance are important through the rougher sections.
