BLM 198

This trail starts at BLM 085 Railroad and features a hard-pack sand surface throughout. There is very little vegetation in this open, barren landscape. The original trail has been altered from past windstorms and storms, and this is the current alternate routing that has developed in response to those changes. The hard-pack sand provides solid traction compared to many of the sandier trails in the area, making this a more consistent surface to navigate.
