Trail Overview
This short singletrack is located near the Crandall Campground, and enters the forest next to several large log piles from forestry work. It winds through the sparse and dry pine forest on a fun curvy single track. It remains pretty easy and obstacle free, but watch for log debris and sticks in the trail. There are a few logs down that you can either go over or skirt around, and it’s a bit tighter in the trees in sections with quick sharp curves. The grade remains pretty gradual, with only a few small downhills, as it gradually loses over 400 feet elevation from south to north. It ends after 1.2 miles on FS 4N01 at the edge of private property. This trail is seasonally closed 12/16 – 4/14 to motorized use.
Difficulty
This is an easy trail overall despite it having some tighter sections in the trees and a couple small log crossings. Expect small roots and a bit of loose rocks, but it is ideal for riders with basic skill levels.
