Trail Overview
This single track starts on the west end at the intersection with 16EV176 and 16EV178 and goes east for .8 miles. It starts in a dry and grassy sun-exposed hillside on a trail full of sharp loose rocks and jagged embedded rock layers that makes it somewhat more technical and slow going. The dry hillsides are semi-steep as well, making it more difficult on the loose rocks. It re-enters the forest on the east end of the trail, where the trail smooths out and gets less rocky. There’s a couple small logs down that riders will have to cross in the forest section. It ends on FS 4N82 below Crandall Peak. This trail is seasonally closed 12/16 – 4/14 to motorized use.
Difficulty
This trail is moderate because it has several steep and loose rocky sections that make it more technical. It also has a couple of small log crossings. It’s not overly difficult with any major rock ledges, but it will require a bit more experience on the steep sections.
