Trail Overview
This is a short trail (less than half a mile long) that makes a short loop with 16EV178 and 16EV177. It’s a steady incline from south to north, on a narrow winding trail through the pines. There are small roots and sticks and a bit of loose rock, but no rock ledges. This one is slightly more difficult than 16EV177 and 16EV178 due to a few steeper and rockier sections. It goes through some dryer and more sun-exposed hillsides with sharp loose rocks that add to the difficulty. There was also a big log down that riders will have to cross that makes it more difficult, and riders should always be aware of new log hazards. This trail is seasonally closed 12/16 – 4/14 to motorized use.
Difficulty
This trail is a moderately easy because although there aren’t any major rock obstacles, there are some steeper and looser sections that make it a bit harder than 16EV177 and 16EV178. Additionally there was a bigger log down as of September 2025.
