Trail Overview

This is a short spur off of 16EV223. It winds through the forest, and has a couple of downed logs on the trail. It probably doesn’t get ridden as much since it’s just a short spur very close to the Deer Creek Staging Area. The trail is closely lined with lots of small young pines. Some of the downed trees are hanging at head height you have to watch out for. It exits the forest section and goes into more scrub oak with sharp loose rocks that you have to ride over. This trail isn’t too difficult because it remains pretty gradual the whole way, even in the rockier sections. The north end intersects with the ATV trail 16EV223 and the next spur, 16EV249. This trail is seasonally closed 12/16 – 4/14 to motorized use.
