Easy except for one hill climb where it got a little rough but still did it in 2 wheel would definitely recommend high clearance and 4 wheel if it has rained

Mellow forest service roads easily doable in 2wd. Numerous primitive campsites along the drive, some with views, some protected from wind by trees. Drive up to Crystal Mountain was a bit more technical needing high clearance, but was also done in 2wd low without spinning a single tire. Overall great weekend getaway.
