Trail Overview

Coming off of Highway 16 onto "Road 1264" you will be met with a very rocky road. This is a newer road however, it is extremely bumpy and rocky driving. The road can get very muddy after a good rain and can be slick in some spots going downhill.

Difficulty

This trail starts off from Highway 16. The trail starts with an easy-going dirt road and turns into a muddy rocky road. At the time of this tracking the road was freshly "Made". Brand new dirt road that has a ton of rock and mud. Be on the lookout for any big rocks.

I drove the trail from West to East. This is a good trail for aggressive stock vehicles / AWD vehicles, but worth the drive through the woods for anyone. A few mildly rocky areas made it fun. Fuel and other goods available at store on East end.

Done with a stock 2021 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk. New to off roading however I think a 3 rating is a little high. Came in from the east and it is a well maintained gravel road for the first 7 miles or so. It turns off into a mostly dirt road. It is rocky in parts but nothing large or difficult at all. The trail climbs, slowly, about 800 feet in elevation over the next few miles. Rain or wet conditions "might" make it more difficult, but not for anyone with 4WD. There was a low water bridge but nothing flowing over it, so after a heavy rain you would haven to check the depth. Easy trail I could see any car doing if they wanted, under dry conditions.

An easy trail that stock rigs can do. Link this with “trailheads trail” to the west or “carwash falls” to the east.
