Trail Overview

Maintained gravel road in the Ouachita National Forest. There is a cool creek crossing and side spur on this trail. This road can be muddy while raining. When dry, this road is very dusty. Loose gravel can allow your vehicle to slide. Awesome views and lots of wildlife are in this area. Dispersed camping and swimming in creeks are also close by. Watch for ATVs on the road.

Doing it on the V-Strom was interesting today, lots of water and slippery mud. A few of the creek crossings were deeper than normal. Met several full size 4x4 trucks.

Lots of rain recently led to a very wet and muddy trail. I was in water most of the time. About 1/3 of the way down the trail there was a water crossing at least three feet deep. I wouldn't attempt it without good amount of clearance or a snorkel.
