Trail Overview
L5 Fox Run is a 3-Diamond, two-way trail that loops off of L2 on the 400-Side of Hot Springs Off-Road Park. Though only 0.3 miles long, it offers a fun and moderately challenging ride through several small hills and valleys. Expect steep climbs, sections of loose rock, and a surface that keeps things interesting throughout. The trail winds through a beautiful stand of oak trees, with plenty of shade and forested character to enjoy along the way. L5 is a great option for drivers looking to add a little variety to their route without committing to a long stretch. It’s short, scenic, and just technical enough to be a memorable detour. A Park Day-Use Trail Pass is required to access this system of trails. Cell service is spotty in places, and trail conditions can change quickly after rain or in winter.
Difficulty
Uneven, rutted dirt trail with loose rocks, sand, erosion, and washes. Potential water crossings up to 18 inches deep and obstacles up to 2 feet, including ledges and short, steep grades.
