Trail Overview
This is a short connector trail from the Gap Hollow Loop to the High Mountain Loop. Although only a half mile long, it's a key connector between two of the longer ATV loops in this trail system, and riders should be prepared for a couple of rocky technical sections that make it more difficult. There is a technical loose descent from east to west with several larger chunky boulders in the trail that are up to a foot tall, followed by a couple more rock sections. Also, watch out for downed logs, slick roots across the trail, mud puddles, sharp curves, and water streaming through the trail that could make it slippery. It drops down to big mud puddles spanning across the entire trail, followed by a 100-foot-long water crossing through the Moccasin Creek. You have to ride through shallow, clear blue water that is flooding the surrounding trees - it's a really beautiful setting, and easy as it is shallow and smooth.
