Trail Overview

Felkins-Myer Bridge Road - FS1322 is a connecting trail from Granny Gap 1 Road to Bear Hollow. From there, you can take FS 93052F to Barker Road or FS 93053A to Illinois Bayou Granite Luge. This trail has something for everyone. It is an unmaintained dirt road with rocky sections that follow Mill Creek. A great creek-side campsite with fire rings and a swimming hole. You will have deep mudholes and will cross Mill Creek several times. Some crossings after heavy rain can be 3-4ft deep. (Bypass is available for the deepest crossing; however, it can still be close to 3ft deep). Many creek crossings have steep entry and departure angles, so high clearance and 4 low is helpful. You will have some rocky sections with 10-12-inch rocks to navigate. You should expect Pin Strips on this trail. This is a popular section of the trail and is tight in many places. You will likely meet other traffic, so be ready to find places to pass.
