Trail Overview

Wishy Washy Way is in the White Hills Area of the Coconino National Forest. First, the good. This trail is technical, and allows the driver to choose good lines on the uphills, work on driving is soft sand in the washes, and explore challenging ledges. The bad? The approach angles to a couple of the obstacles are steep and require a high clearance vehicle. The wash entrances and exits are steep and loose, so caution is urged. There are a couple of hill climbs where ledges occur halfway up the hills, so good line choice is a must. Remember to check the weather report as this area is prone to flash floods and there are many spots where you are in the wash for hundreds of yards.

It starts out rough and ruted. Then it is like a rocky dirt trail. There are some washes to cross and drive in for a short distance. About 1/2 way there are a few ledges to go down and up. At one of the ledges to climb I had to go into 4 hi, for all the rest of the trail I was in 2 wheel drive. I am running a Jeep Rubicon on 35's. I would rate this trail a 3.

I would give this trail a 4 with only a few SHORT optional lines a 5. Fun going UP the wash. No one else on the trail, but I see where this could be a busy area on weekends where there is an OHV staging lot on Rt 30. Stock Rubicon 2016 on 31's

Its a fun loop to take and has some fun washy areas plus other rocky climbs. Wouldn't take a long wheelbase but sxs or small 4x4 no problems

App description is accurate. some small ledges, washouts, and dips. Any Jeep Wrangler or similiar would be fine on the trail. Longer wheelbases may struggle on a couple of the obstacles.

Good run, lots of room to navigate, if you run it from south to north, about 1/2 mile from the exit there's a great climb off to the left, to complete the summit you will need a lifted vehicle, not a standard 4x4 or SUV but you can go 3/4 of the way up and have a safe spot to turn around.

Nice easy trail with a few interesting climbs and steps. Took 1 hour from Middle Verde Road to the junction with Camber Collusion Trail.
