Trail Overview

This is an intermediate Jeep trail off of Table Mesa Road that goes up a wash with several rock-ledge obstacles. There's a staging area directly across from the start of the trail, but the entrance to the trail is unmarked. Right away, the wash has lots of embedded slabs of rock but starts pretty flat. The first obstacle goes down a couple-foot-high ledge that's pretty narrow between bushes, but there's an easy bypass around this one. There are more slab rock layers in the wash with 1-foot ledges down. Then it gets more difficult with rock ledges in the wash that are jagged and off-camber, and one-lined since it's in a narrow wash. The jagged layers of slab create several-foot-high ledges. There are lots of loose boulders in the wash and unmarked intersections as well. After several obstacle sections, the wash flattens out, and it continues as an easy trail that is scenic with tall rock walls. It ends in the wash at a big pile of rubble against the property line with the cement company. It doesn't connect back to Table Mesa Road, so this has to be done as an out-and-back.

Fun short trail right off Table Mesa Road, me and my buddy completed the first half with a 3” lift on a Jeep Cherokee XJ and a 2000’s Tacoma with a small lift and big tires. Once you get to the obstacles in my photos it is very technical and in my opinion needs a big lift to complete the rest of the trail. (Hard) We attempted the very first part of this second half of the trail to challenge our rigs and then backed back out lol. Well worth checking this out for quick easy access to challenging rock crawling
