Trail Overview

This trail is not maintained in the winter and impassible in wet or snowy conditions. It is recommended to have a short wheelbase or low clearance vehicle as there are very low handing trees. This is a one-vehicle road with no bypass or turnaround; tight trail, you will definitely get pinstripes. There are some good camp spots along this route. There is spotty cell service.

Tight, but very minimal pin striping. Very few places to pull over if there is oncoming vehicles. Strongly recommend continuing on West Spruce trail. Once you get past the gate on top, it becomes very steep downhill with a lot of loose and jaged rocks, but great views. I would consider this part a 5.

The description says you will definitely get pin stripes but I did not find it terribly narrow in my 4Runner. There were a couple puddles but mostly dry.
