Tank Four Birdhouse

This is an oasis in the high desert. This trail leads to a beautiful little pond for wildlife and a nice grassy pullout to stop for lunch or call it a night. Frogs and birds can be heard all around. A small birdhouse is mounted high on a pole right next to the pod. The trail out begins as a smooth dirt surface. Beyond the first little wildlife water station, the trail starts to get rocky. There are a few back-and-forth odd off-camber sections. As the trail progresses, the rocks get larger and are more difficult to navigate. There are even a few small rock ledges. The trail is narrow, with few places to pass oncoming vehicles. This area is quite remote. Download offline maps before venturing out, and bring extra water.
