Trail Overview

This is one of many powerline roads through this area of desert between Page, Arizona, and Big Water, Utah. It's long and straight, going for 6.5 miles from southeast to northwest. It's a bit rough and rutted and uneven, but doesn't have any obstacles and is pretty flat. You have to go through a couple of gates, and it crosses a paved road at one point. It's a mix of dirt and sand, with hardly any rock. It's pretty chopped up from cattle in places. The south end starts on 1407, and after 4 miles, it turns into 1096 Blue Pools Road. Taking this is going to be the fastest way to connect the east end of this OHV area back to the west end, depending on where you staged, and it can be part of a loop if you're trying to check out both Lees Ferry Overlook and Stud Horse Point.
