This easy trail is accented by the stunning views of the surrounding hills. You're high on a plateau, in what would seem to be an open meadow, with trees and hills in the distance. This trail leads across the field, with sneaky rocks and mud ruts passing lonely trees, some with sun-bleached bones baking beneath them. There are no obstacles on this one-lane trail and only 1 bar of Verizon service, so it's best to have offline maps accessible. In the area, there are elk, deer, antelope, cattle, and various bird species. All this, coupled with the wide open spaces is a nature lover's dream.
