Trail Overview

This fun twisty run through the hills is a great connector trail. There is a really steep, long, loose hill and lots of short little climbs. The trail has some great hilltop vantage points and lots of areas to pull over for lunch or a snack under the large trees by the riverbed. With a keen eye, you'll spot plenty of existing fire rings for dispersed camping. Watch for cattle as this is an open range and oncoming traffic is difficult to spot around the narrow corners. There are a few connectors to single-track runs in the area as well if on foot or two wheels. There are 2 bars of LTE.

Difficulty

This trail has some small ledges and sandy sections, but the rating is primarily for a long moderately steep hill climb or descent near the southern section of the trail. It's loose and quite rocky in some sections.

chilly and a bit windy, but a nice trail with a few small climbs. Had some snow falling down at the beginning of the trail.
