Trail Overview

This is a short but mildly challenging, fun little side-quest off of the Harquahala Peak Trail. The trail begins with an old stone cabin used by the original miners. Expect loose, medium-sized rocks on a narrow road up the side of a ravine. The parking area near the mine does not have enough room for more than 1 or 2 vehicles. There is an open mine shaft in the ground behind a fence that is monitored via a trail cam.

Difficulty

This was a fun side exploration but worthy to note - it’s not the same 4 rating as Harquahala at this date. It was challenging and narrow and some large rocks in path. However our Bronco Raptor, two other Broncos and a 4 door SXS made it fine. If Harq is a 4, I’d rate this a 5.
