Trail Overview
The Loop Road / 108 South Section is a continuation of the loop road that was closed previously to runoff and water crossings. It's important to note that monsoon season in this area of the Prescott National Forest can be aggressive and dangerous, and should be treated with caution. This trail is wide, with red dirt and rock, which makes it a superhighway through the gorgeous Ponderosa Pines of this section of the Prescott National Forest. Multiple campsites dot this trail, making it a prime area for hunters and campers alike, because most sites are large enough to pull a 5th wheel through. A highly popular area, there are many spur trails and much exploration to be done in the area. Other than the occasional water crossing, this trail is a gateway to an amazing area to visit and explore.
