Trail Overview
Heavenly Pass is one of the more difficult dirt bike trails in the Laguna Hills due to it being a very steep and loose, rocky climb that is a test of traction. From the west end, it's a narrow single track that climbs up from the intersection with West Side, going almost straight up a hillside to reach a saddle. It is very steep and will be challenging for most average riders. You get a great view from the saddle of these rugged desert mountains. Then it side-hills down the backside of the hill on a narrow and exposed trail, with several switchbacks. There are constantly loose rocks on the trail. The last bit of trail gradually descends down to another intersection with West Side.

Difficulty
This trail is more challenging because it has a very steep climb and descent in order to get up and over this hill. The climb/descent is loose, steep, and rocky. The majority of the short route is the hill climb and descent, making it challenging regardless of which direction you ride it.
