Trail Overview
H1445 is a primitive one-mile-long sand wash route. The wash is very gradual and flat, but at times, you have to pick your way through the wash with a bit of navigation. It is unmarked, with split lines in the wash that could dead-end or lead to impassable boulders. It is quite narrow in spots as well. You’ll likely need a map to find this trail and to complete the route – there aren’t many tracks to follow. Expect to ride over some bigger rocks and duck for branches. It turns into a road designation after a mile in the wash and continues farther west. Watch for cattle in the wash. Note that if you try to make this a loop back to H1387 via BLM route 7190, 7190 is very primitive and narrow with big washouts, and is most ideal only for dirt bikes, and not ATVs.
Difficulty
This trail is easy as it is flat and follows a sand wash, but it will require some navigation. There are a few bigger rocks in the wash, but there are multiple lines to choose from in the wash, and no major obstacles.
