Trail Overview
BLM Route 7188 is a 2.5-mile-long ATV trail that is a fun and scenic, more primitive route. The west end is unmarked, starting at the edge of a livestock corral after going through a fence, and starts off more primitive, with not many tracks. Overall, it is a narrower path ideal for ATVs. The first bit is a gradual and easy climb up to a scenic ridge line. Watch for ruts and dips, and a few steeper spots, with frequent erosion and foot-deep ruts. It goes along the spine of a mountain with views on either side over the Hualapai Mountains. The trail is lined with prickly pear cactus and scrub oak brush. The ridge line gradually descends down towards a wash, with a steep spot at the end to drop into the sandy wash road.
Difficulty
This trail is more moderate due to several rutted sections that will be more difficult for ATVs, as well as the primitive nature of the trail. It is a bit easier for dirt bikes in the rutted sections.
