Trail Overview

FS549c is a single-lane rocky trail that sports lots of erosion and water damage. There is a fair amount of downed trees along this route, with bypasses in place. Remember if you have to leave the trail to TREAD LIGHTLY as this area is fragile and is prone to damage easily. There are cattle in the area, so don't be surprised to turn a corner and be facing a large bovine. There are also elk and deer in the area, as well as other wildlife. Other than the water damage, and erosion, there are no major obstacles along this trail. There is little to no cell service in this area, so offline maps are recommended.
