Trail Overview
Forest Service Road 9361Q is just over a mile long and winds through the pines of the Coconino National Forest. The trail begins with a fairly rocky section, featuring large flat rocks and a few small rock gardens that require careful navigation. As you continue, the route climbs onto a small mesa and heads southeast. From here, the terrain becomes much smoother, with minimal rock obstacles. Pine needles often blanket the trail surface, giving this section a more relaxed, easy-going feel. Toward the end, the trail becomes faint in several areas and can be difficult to follow. Eventually, it comes to a halt and disappears entirely. Overall, this is an enjoyable trail that leads to a beautiful, tree-covered mesa. Be aware that turning around at the end may be challenging, especially for full-sized 4x4 vehicles.
