Trail Overview

FS 762 starts off Fracas Canyon and runs west to FS 758, creating a convenient point-to-point connection through the forest. This is a heavily traveled gravel two-track with a generally easy route and no major technical obstacles. Several mud holes are found after rain, and 2WD/4WD with high clearance is recommended. The trail winds through a beautiful forest of tall aspens, pine trees, and natural grasses. It is wide enough to comfortably accommodate full-size 4x4 vehicles and provides easy access to several additional trails in the surrounding area. A campfire ring is found along the route for those looking to stop and enjoy the forest. With its open forest views and abundant aspens, FS 762 is an especially beautiful trail for experiencing fall colors and makes a great connector while exploring the surrounding trail system.
