Trail Overview

Forest Service Road 665 is a dirt trail that branches off of Stoneman Lake Access Road. This trail travels north and traverses through the ponderosa pines. The southern part of the trail is a relatively even surface. As you travel North, the trail becomes more rocky and uneven. As you pass a tank to the East, several areas are prone to mud holes. At the end of the trail, there is a turnaround with a camping spot. The trail does continue North but turns into a non-motorized trail.
