Trail Overview

This tight, overgrown trail winds through dense vegetation that narrows the corridor and will likely cause some pinstriping. The road is consistently bumpy with scattered rocks and washouts, making high clearance necessary. A few dispersed camp spots are dotted along the route as it gradually descends from a crossroad toward the edge of the lake. The trail dead ends at a cliff, so be mindful as you approach the end. There are limited but scenic views of the Salt River and Roosevelt Lake, and a turnaround area large enough to accommodate full-size rigs.

Difficulty

This trail is rated 2/10 due to the mostly mild terrain with only minor washouts, rocks, and tight vegetation. While high clearance is helpful for the bumpy sections, most of the challenge comes from the narrow, overgrown corridor rather than technical obstacles.
