Trail Overview

This two-track winds through open desert landscape as you head back toward the Mazatzal Mountains, offering wide open views of the surrounding ranges and the canyons that cut back into the mountains. The route follows along the edge of a gentle ridge with washes on both sides. The road is a little bumpy in spots but remains mostly flat and easy overall, making it a relaxed and scenic drive. There are a few dispersed camp spots tucked along the route, and the trail eventually dead-ends at a fence and water tank.

Difficulty

This trail earns its low technical rating due to the mostly flat terrain and minimal obstacles, making it suitable for most high-clearance vehicles and capable AWD in dry conditions. Drivers should simply be prepared for light bumps and occasional uneven sections along the ridge.
