Forest Service Road 230 is a maintained dirt road that clocks in right at 8 miles long. This road is maintained the entire way and can be dusty at times. After rain or snow, this road may get extremely muddy due to old small rutted tracks on the road's surface. Constant views of ponderosas and meadows are throughout this road the entire way. There are many dispersed camping spots along this road.
