Trail Overview

This trail branches off FS 200 and follows the ridge before what appears to be a downhill route—but from the top, that drop isn’t clearly visible. Staying right and following existing tracks will eventually guide you down to where the trail reconnects on the hillside. From there, a short, slightly off-camber descent drops you into a canyon, where the trail winds along the bottom before connecting to FS 200A. This section passes through some incredible aspen groves—especially vibrant in the fall. The trail includes a few deep, older mud ruts and occasional fallen trees to navigate, but nothing technical—just watch your tire placement. It eventually ends at FS 200A, which leads back out to FS 634 and Highway 67.

Difficulty

Nothing technical, but there is a steep hill, slightly off-camber, to navigate slowly, and there are a few ruts in the canyon area.
