Trail Overview

Take your time on this short mellow trail through the pines to connect to Little Rim Road. Tons of wild life along the trail from herds of elk and deer to wild turkey. With easy to mild rock gardens and forest roads there's tons to enjoy. If your on the trail around late afternoon make sure to pull your camera or phone out to enjoy some of Arizona's famous sunsets. The best spot is along the power lines near the rock gardens.

Difficulty

Mostly an unmaintained forest road with a few off-camber sections and mild rock gardens and tree roots less than 12 inches. The trail gets muddy with large mud puddles after a storm. There is little to no cell reception. There are minimal camping spots on the trail but tons on nearby trails. 4x4 recommended but doable in 2WD depending on trail conditions.
