Trail Overview
Cinch's Cutoff is a dirt two-track that winds and rolls between the washes and creosote outcroppings that form this area. Mostly open, this has narrow spots, but nothing too gnarly. There are no obstacles on this trail and at the south end, it dumps out onto a wide dirt road that leads up to the back of a neighborhood. This land requires a yearly permit that can be purchased and printed online. The permit allows certain recreational activities, including camping, bicycling, bird watching, GPS-based recreational activities (geocaching), hiking, horseback riding, off-highway vehicle (OHV) usage, photography, picnicking, and sightseeing.
