This hidden gem of a trail starts off wide and smooth. A short while in, it transitions to sporadic rock gardens and steep off-camber wash crossing that a shorter wheelbase and higher clearance vehicle would have no problem with. Cattle abound under the power lines, but when you make your way up the plateau, the views make the journey worth it. There are sporadic campsites along the trail, with the plateau being able to serve a larger camp with more rigs. The trail has a bit of erosion scattered about, and terminates at a gate indicating no vehicle travel beyond, though hiking trails continue into the wilderness.
