Trail 28065 begins in the wash or can be accessed from Cow Creek Ridge, with the mapped start at the intersection of 28064 and 28076. You’ll enter the wash and climb a gentle step before continuing about 0.25 miles to the first obstacle—a washed-out section that’s fun, slightly off-camber, and not overly technical. Continuing, you’ll round a corner and reach the main feature: a waterfall obstacle. This is a fun stair-step rock climb that requires a 4x4 and high clearance. It’s manageable in good conditions, but not recommended in bad weather. After clearing the waterfall, the trail winds through a couple of turns before breaking off to the right and climbing uphill back to the ridge, reconnecting with Cow Creek Ridge.
