Black Hills, Box Canyon and Beyond

This mostly graded trail ends at Hassayampa River on one end and the other at the transition to the more difficult section of the Scenic Loop. In winter and rodeo season there will be lots of traffic from one of the ranches near the end. Generally, there is room for oncoming traffic to pass. Use extreme caution during monsoon season or on rainy days as the washes can flood quickly, and there are a great many not only crossings but sections that travel in the washes. Mostly graded washboard 2 bars LTE in and out.
