Black Canyon Creek Exit

We started on the north and went south. I would recommend going the other way. There is a washed out section that we were not able to do as it would be 100% roll over with no winch point if you come from the north.

I had a good time on this one for sure. I didn’t finish it but, it was still fun. I do this trail from south to north and I liked it because it’s an uphill climb for the most part instead of going down which I’m not fond of. Lol. I prefer up. Anyway, I went as far as I could which was the real sharp and steep off-camber right turn, the only real hard part of the trail in my opinion, which was scarier than I thought it would be. Watching on YouTube and standing there in person are 2 different things. I tried to use the “stakes” but, I was leaning too far over for my comfort. I was alone which made me think twice about doing something stupid. Turning around at that spot was very difficult for the Superduty as well because it was really tight there with suck a steep drop off. I made it out however and back the way I came to Black Canyon City.

Would not recommend taking a SxS down this trail. We may have needed to walk out if it weren't for our winch to attach to the stakes at the washed out ledge. Be careful not to roll off the mountain at this spot!
