Big Bug Mesa Semi-Loop

Big Bug Mesa Semi-Loop is a one-and-a-half-mile trail that loops around part of Big Bug Mesa. The trail's surface is dirt and has been recently graded and maintained. The entire route is very easygoing, with just a few bumpy spots along the way. This trail takes you through ponderosa pines and scrub oak. The trail is very dusty, so there may be visibility issues if two rigs are traveling in opposite directions. After a good rain, the trail can become a muddy mess and very slippery. There are some nice camping areas along this trail.
