Trail Overview

This 4.5-mile point-to-point trail connects Hualapai Mountain Scenic Trail to Hualapai Mountain Trail or Moss Wash Trail. This trail parallels Antelope Wash as you climb 1300 ft up the Hualapai Mountains. Enjoy the expansive views of the Aquarius Mountain Range to the East. Multiple primitive camping areas and several hiking trailheads are along this trail. During the winter months, snow accumulation is possible and can make roads impassable.

Friday May 8th 2026 Hemi Ram 2500 5 speed manual 37s full size long bed. Passed 2 jeeps and a side by side that were going down hill as we were going up. Passing is challenging in places. Effortless to drive in this rig but I felt like a giant dinosaur on this road. Epic views. Several big rocks have fallen in the road and been pushed aside but there several loose ones that are very large and look like 1st disruption will knock them down into the road as well. The burned forest is growing back and we saw a couple deer and some cattle. Was a awesome drive, considering how close it was to home it is a shame we haven't did this a long time ago. Town is twice as far away...

Beautiful drive. Road was solid rock in many places and more jagged than expected for being a technical rating of 2.

The road is rocky but it doesn't have large dips, crossings, or ledges. What it does have are tight corners with small switchbacks might be hard to negotiate but there are enough turnout points. It's a 2 even when graded just because of the corners.
