Trail Overview

This is a difficult trail through a wash connecting upper Ajax Mine Trail to Nw2050 (from Box Canyon Trail). Starting the trail from Ajax Mine would be easier as gravity is on your side. There are large rock obstacles without bypasses and a narrow opening between two rocks in which full size vehicles would likely incur body damage.

Difficulty

The SxS's seen in the photos have 35" tires with 29" of travel to give perspective. It took approximately 2.5 hrs to complete this trail spotting four SxS's through it. The one "squeeze" point was approximately 72" wide.

Fun little trail and easy on bikes. Some big rocks if youre in a sxs or jeep be prepared. Makes for a nice loop if you do upper woodpecker to Ajax mine then to Ajax then mineral mountain in a clockwise direction.
