483B

This is a short but intermediate spur trail off of 483 that rides through constantly rocky terrain in the Coronado National Forest. The terrain is rolling desert hills covered in mesquite trees and ocotillos. The trail has sharp turns, little dips across sudden ravines, and frequent embedded boulders. There are a couple of notable moderate rock obstacles. One is an embedded rock surface during a narrow climb, surrounded by very loose rock and dirt, but you can ramp right up the center of the rock layer. There are some mild side-hilling sections, and steep little spots as it enters or exits a ravine. It goes over a section of white rocks similar to the Moonscape section on trail 480, and has views of some really scenic rock outcroppings.
