Trail Overview
Trail 47028, known as Morgan City Wash, branches to the right directly from Trail 47029. This route follows a simple sandy and rocky wash with several small rock obstacles that provide optional play areas for capable vehicles. The trail continues east before curving right and reaching a dead end at private property. There is no visible fencing, so caution is advised to avoid crossing onto private land. The wash features loose rock, sand, and minor technical sections. Conditions may deteriorate during bad weather, and the area is subject to flash flooding, making the trail potentially impassable at times. This route is an out-and-back trail that is suitable only for high-clearance 4x4 vehicles. Users can exit either by returning through the underpass tunnel connected to 47029 or by climbing back up the hill to Highway 74.
